This is Rix 502 HO Scale 60′ Water/Oil Tank Kit Flat Top. The Rix Water and Oil Tank is designed to represent riveted steel tanks which the railroads started building back in 1880 during the steam era. Today tanks similar to these are being used to hold oil and chemicals. The Rix Water and Oil Tank is made up of 6 band segments which form a complete band. The bands are then stacked one on top of another until they reach the given height. Kit makes 1 60′ tall by 24′ diameter riveted, steel tank with flat top. All tanks are molded in a black polystyrene.
